President: Tina Travlos Nihlean
Tina is the founder of the EDC and has served on the board for nearly 30 years. She owns and operates Edgewater Development Company Holdings, LLC, and serves on the Board of SSA #26. She loves the diversity, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit found among the residents of Edgewater.
Vice President: Larry Eaton
Larry is a retired partner in the law firm of Cozen O’Connor. He also served in the Peace Corps in the 1960s and loves the fact that Edgewater offers every advantage of a suburb, plus all the diversity and amenities of being part of a large city.
Treasurer: Paul Mittleman
Paul has served on the EDC board for over 7 years and is employed by the Hispanic Housing Development Corporation. He loves the great neighbors to be found in Edgewater, along with the all the terrific restaurants the community has to offer.
Secretary: Clare Tobin
In addition to serving on the EDC board for the past 10 years, Clare served for 18 years on the Edgewater Community Council and is currently on the Board of the Illinois Ballot Integrity Project. She is retired from the Property Management industry, and loves that our community is right on Lake Michigan and that she can be in the heart of downtown Chicago in 15 minutes.
Member At Large: Adam Gertsacov
Adam joined the EDC board a couple of years ago bringing his expertise in social media and website development. He also works in the entertainment field, and created and managed a successful festival on the east coast. He enjoys Edgewater’s proximity to the lake and the diversity of the residents here.
Member At Large: Joe Teller
In addition to participating on the EDC board for the last decade, Joe is also on the board for Casa Central. He currently works for BMO Harris, and lives in the heart of Edgewater. Community diversity is his favorite thing about the neighborhood.
Member At Large: Kelly Stoltz
Kelly is our newest board member of the EDC. She works at the insurance firm of Nicolaides, Fink, Thorpe, Michaelides Sullivan LLP. As a parent, she is very excited about the possibility of increasing the amount of family-friendly businesses in Edgewater.
